Parent's Guide

The Parents’ Guide gives parents and guardians the opportunity to teach their children how to apply biblical knowledge to their lives. It’s never too early or late to learn about the only way, truth, and life–Jesus Christ.

Children Ages 3 to 10

Children at these ages will have the opportunity to learn about Jesus’ death and resurrection; God’s faithfulness, provision, grace, and unconditional love; and character traits such as humility.

While geared to children ages 3 to 6, older children may also enjoy being guided through the following sections of the Parents’ Guide:

  • But Why? These prompts prepare parents for the inevitable questions that children ask. We urge you to encourage your child’s inquisitive nature.
  • Teaching Tools: These suggestions help you make biblical teaching practical for your children.
  • Learning Concepts and Unfamiliar Words: This section summarizes the fundamental truth your child has learned through the teaching material. It is also an avenue through which your child can increase his vocabulary.
Children Ages 7 to 10

Children at these ages are encouraged to apply biblical teaching to their daily lives through these components of the Parents’ Guide:

  • Journal: This gives your child the opportunity to express his thoughts, feelings, and experiences as it relates to the biblical teaching.
  • Life Lessons: This section gives your child short "action points" related to the teaching, so he can integrate it into his everyday life.
